A Carbon Neutral City

There are plans for a 50,000-person, city-sized development in Abu Dhabi, called Masdar City, that will run entirely on renewable energy and be totally car-free. Residents, they say, will get around on a light railway line and "a series of automated transport pods." (We picture an earthbound Wonkavator.)

The World Wildlife Fund is heavily involved, which lends the whole thing some environmental street cred.

The planning firm, Foster and Partners, has pictures up. Looks like they're also working on the "Yacht Club de Monaco." Gotta pay the bills.

Funny or Die took four old people to a crazy music festival as a joke. It turned out awesome. http://t.co/ySVAy4aL2T http://t.co/EA7RzU6atz
