I'm sure at some point in your life you've been told not to play with your food. If artist Kelly Cheatle had listened to that silly suggestion, she would have never created this adorable Oreo cookie animation, with help from partner Larry Moss. The partners, who have a business creating playful work out of balloons and other media, turned to desert for their latest inspiration. Using an exacto knife, Cheatle transformed the delicious Oreo filling into a vibrant jumping scene, one that ends, appropriately in a glass of milk. And the best part of a project like this is being able to eat the art afterwards.

Throughout March, we'll share ideas and resources for being more conscious about our food and food systems. Join the conversation at good.is/food and on Twitter at #chewonit.
