Climate Reality Project Launches 24-Hour Push for Truth

by Zak Stone

September 16, 2011

Climate change is a reality every minute of every hour. Unfortunately, so is climate change denial. But a media campaign by The Climate Reality Project, founded by Al Gore, is pushing for truth today by putting a global spotlight on local climate change realities for a full 24 hours. At 7 p.m. in each time zone around the globe, the organization will deliver a presentation designed to set the record straight and "connect the dots between recent extreme weather events [...] and the manmade pollution that is changing our climate," according to the event's website.
