Doctors Now Writing Prescriptions for Produce

Apparently an apple a day does really keep the doctor away. The New York Times reports that in response to skyrocketing obesity rates, physicians at three health centers in Massachusetts have begun advising patients to eat "prescription produce" and are dispensing coupons to patients for the purchase of fruit and vegetables.
