Electric Eyeshadow for the Digital Age

Design student Lulin Ding is bringing makeup into the digital age. Her new project, "Digitize Eyeshadow," uses light to "paint" your eyelids whenever you blink or close your eye. It works by delicately placing a frame of insulated wires on the face against a weight that nestles by your ear.

Imagine the possibilities for concerts. Or proms. Or Lady Gaga's next award show. Personally, I'd just be worried about people trying to shoo away the firefly-looking lump on my eyelid.
