Kristen Bell is an actress, Neutrogena spokesperson, the voice of Gossip Girl, and an environmental activist. You may have seen her in Veronica Mars, or more recently in Showtime’s House of Lies.
After a recent trip to Ethiopia with Charity Water, Bell teamed up with Neutrogena’s “Jump in, Jump out, Join in” campaign, which encourages people to conserve water by changing their everyday habits, like taking shorter showers, for example.
Bell is also an animal rights supporter, taking actions like the letter she sent to the National Pork Producers Council earlier this year urging them to stop using gestation crates. A vegetarian since the age of 11, Bell took the top honor in PETA’s “World’s Sexiest Vegetarians” award in 2006.
When she lived in Michigan, Bell fostered animals from Michigan Humane Society. She now supports the San Diego based Helen Woodward Animal Center, and often attends fundraisers for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and other nonprofit organizations dedicated to protecting animals.
Bell is also a supporter of Invisible Children, the voter education charity Declare Yourself, and the Alzheimer's Association.
