@GOOD Asks: How Can We Lower Highschool Drop Out Rates?

by Hillary Newman

March 6, 2011

We've covered the drop out epidemic before. In the United States, a kid drops out of high school every 26 seconds. Over the course of a year, that adds up to 1.2 million students. How can we lower this number?

We ask a question to our Twitter and Facebook faithful once a day, so if you’re not yet following @GOOD or a fan, make sure to sign up and participate in the conversation.

On Friday we will post a roundup of our favorite responses, so stay tuned.
