GOOD Maker Challenge: Vote Now for the Most Inspiring Pet

by GOOD Maker

September 5, 2013

This post is brought to you by GOOD and Purina ONE®

Last month we put a call out to pet owners in the GOOD Community to share an inspiring photo and story about what their pet does to make the world a better place. In our Picturing Pets GOOD Maker challenge, we received hundreds of submissions from across the U.S. with inspiring photos and stories that celebrate the simple, everyday things that pets do.

We narrowed the submissions down to 15 and from now through September 17 noon PT, you can vote for the winner. Take a look at the pets and their stories here, and then vote for the one you think is making the world a better place.

The winner will be the entrant with the highest number of votes and he or she will win a feature on, plus a year's supply of Purina ONE dog food. The winner will also enable award-winning photographer Nanette Martin to conduct a pet photo shoot and photography training session at a pet shelter and will also choose one of the following shelter programs to receive a $1,500 donation in his or her name: HALO Animal Rescue Uno por Uno, Animal Humane Society Bound for Home, Cat Adoption Team Kitten Foster Program, or Nebraska Humane Society Camp Kindness.

Vote for your favorite pet photo and story now and check back on October 1 when we announce the winner.
