A youth center in St. Louis, The SPOT offers free medical and social services to 13 to 24 year olds. Through their Youth ACTION! program they want to train and develop youth leaders to mentor and inspire other young people in the St. Louis community.  They hope to gain funding to support the program as well as offer greater visibility to their work. Burning Through Pages

Burning Through Pages works to provide youths with books.  The kids in the program are allowed to take ownership of their books and reading – they can fold the pagers, highlight and write in the books. Through comic books, novels and book clubs the nonprofit tries to spark every child’s interest in reading. Through funding they hope to get more books, as well as start new projects for the kids. Learn more about their program and the kids they reach here.
