We're proud to announce the winner of our latest infographic contest, where we asked readers to design an infographic about the recent earthquake in Haiti. We at GOOD conferred with Aaron Perry-Zucker of Design for Haiti, and we've come to a decision.
We would also like to call out two other entries for distinction. While we have no prizes to offer, you deserve a lot of praise for these pieces. Stephane Bau's piece featured an otherwise unused piece of information—the gap in funding various sectors of aid—in a interesting graphic package. And Claire Kohler did an excellent job combining data on both earthquakes and aid in a visually arresting package. You can see both pieces below, and all the submissions here.
Our next contest will be announced next week. For everyone who participated, please keep doing excellent work. We look forward to seeing what you can come up with next.
