They don't call it the "Emerald Isle" for nothing. In honor of St. Patty's Day, here's a remarkably cloudless image of Ireland snapped last October by NASA's Aqua satellite. Getting this clear a shot of Ireland is actually something of a feat: The island experiences clouds "more than 50 percent of the time" and perennial, ubiquitous fog.
