Shelter: You Can Still Build a House with Your Own Two Hands

by Patrick James

October 14, 2010

Jason Sussberg's documentary "Shelter" follows Lloyd Kahn, the author of a dozen or so books on home construction, and an advocate for contemporary craftsmanship. He recognizes that in the modern world it's impossible to be truly self-sufficient—industry makes some processes and products quite efficiently and easily—but the more things you do with your own two hands, the happier you will be.

Thanks, Dylan!
