Back in January, Storefront for Art and Architecture and Control Group held an international call for answers to the question: "What if the White House, the ultimate architectural symbol of political power, were to be designed today?"Calling the competition White House Redux, the organizers received some 500 submissions from people in 42 countries. The jury-selected winners have been announced, but polls for a popular vote winner will remain open until November 3.
There are 500 copies of a White House Redux book for purchase here, which will be shipped on October 2. That same day, a WHR installation will open in New York and prizes will be awarded to the winners.Large Photo: a shot of the current popular vote leader by Jorge Rocha Antunes. Thanks, Casey.
