Winner Announced: Design a Poster Promoting Alternative Holiday Gifts

December 20, 2010

We're happy to announce the winner of our alternative giving poster design contest. After looking over all the entries, the folks at Mercy Corps have picked Matthew Marosz's entry, pictured above. They said:

"We love this take on the concept of alternative giving. The lighthearted aesthetic and language make a serious topic approachable and hopefully inspires the desire to give back."

Marosz will take home a GOOD T-shirt, a free subscription, and a copy of The Mercy Corps Collection: Images From the Field, a collection of photographs documenting Mercy Corps's field work.

We would like to thank everyone else who submitted as well. Your pieces (which you can see here) were all excellent.

If Marosz's poster (or any of the others) was compelling enough to make you consider some other options for your holiday giving, visit Mercy Corps gift site and see what you can do.
