San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, constructed between 1933 and 1937, is one of the most identifiable U.S. landmarks, and this year, it's celebrating its 75th birthday. Its trademark bright hue is officially known as "International Orange" and the bridge was once the world's longest suspension bridge. Though it no longer holds that title, there are many other fascinating facts lurking around this steel behemoth.
